Montgomery Feeding Center

On the 23/12/09 the Vimba team went to Montgomery where the children were thrown a Christmas Party.  The children had their food and were then spoilt with sweets, chips, cool drinks and gifts.  These gifts included;
• Material for uniforms,
• a soccer ball each
• water colour paints
• 6 crayons each
• A colouring in book each
• An exercise book each
• their classroom was painted
• A black board was painted on the wall for the teachers use
• their school benches have been taken in for repair
• The 6 children under one were given a pair of shoes each
• 9 different Educational charts for the class room

The atmosphere of the party was that of excitement, not only from the children at the crèche but also from the older children in the village.  There was more than enough food and drink at the party and so the crèche children asked if they could share with the older children.
