Hello Team at Vimba, thank you for the drinks on Wednesday - such style and fun too, congratulations on all your successes! We have come to your site to buy Christmas presents for my godchildren, and Marie would like to give some shoes (actually, she's also quite like a pair herself!). She says hello to Shay!

It is so exciting to see how an idea and a lot of feeling has grown over the past couple of years into such an amazing and successful project. I have huge respect for all of you.

For those in JHB who have been supporting us - thank you so very much! Vimba Evening happening tonight to raise money for the Rose of Hope Care Centre - a tiny little pre school in a township in Germiston. Will be posting pics ASAP, but if there is anyone in JHB who would like to be a part of vimba in SA, give me a shout! Thanks and love as always, Soph

Thank you for your e-Christmas card and annual report which arrived just in time to save me writing out cards myself. I have instead sent you a donation and forwarded your email to my friends explaining why there will be no card from me this Christmas. I am sure they will be impressed by your fantastic and compassionate hard work and I hope may want to send something your way too. My New Year wish will be that the people in Zimbabwe get a government that helps them and their country to flourish.

Well done girls, the idea is fantastic and deserves a lot of support. I hope we will have an opportunity to sit down and share more - I am a Zimbabwean teacher, accountant and activist languishing in UK but with lots of ideas and skills which we can share. The Zimbabwean crisis is one that needs as much support as possible

"There but for fortune go you or I"
Its great to see that you girls are taking the time, effort and determination to make a difference to those less fortunate than yourselves, people who do not have a choice or a chance without the help of generous souls. Great work, you can be very proud of Vimba and yourselves. I wish you great success.

'The fingers are never equal', so goes a siNdebele saying. It is imperative as not only Zimbabweans but Southern Africans to unite and help the less fortunate. We at SAITA support Vimba and will appreciate an audience with you ladies so we can know how best to be involved. Incidentally VIMBA in siNdebele/Zulu means protect, lets all protect our culture, land and the people alike.

Strike within and reach beyond! our moto.

re the article in The Telegraph. It said you are looking for clothing to be sent over to Zimbabwe. Are you only able to collect in the London area or will you have collection points elsewhere?
Keep up the good work.

People in the UK have been wondering how to help. Yesterday's Telegraph has given us lots of useful information, so hopefully you will now start to see some practical as well as moral support.

At a time when mugabe wants to create a division between white/ black zimbabweans and when he stupidly tries to shun the zimbabwean white community you have completely ignored him and not that discourage your work.please keep up and one day we will be free again to enjoy our motherland. well done and keep up the hard work

Hi

Just got the email from Peter Mulholland at J&T. Will go and look out loads of clothes for you! I have also passed this on to my boss and his wife, who are both ex-Zim, so hopefully we can get lots of stuff for you. Well done for being so moved to do something. I feel so useless sitting here watching it all go on, and not knowing what to do, so it's great to be able to help.

Many thanks and best wishes to you all.
Ros Mulholland
