Elise Farley - African Liaison & Vimba Cape Town Representative
Elise Farley was born in Zimbabwe and later moved to South Africa with her family. She completed an Honours degree in Political Science at Rhodes University in South Africa and then spent a year teaching in Asia before arriving in the UK in 2007. Elise has throughout her life been an ardent supporter of many organizations that fight against the abuse of human rights. She brings to Vimba a strong understanding of suffering in the third world as well as a source of innovative ideas. She is Vimba’s African Correspondent and is currently based in South Africa where she is heading up a new initiative, Vimba Cape Town.
